Traditional Albanian kitchen
Berat · by the Gorica bridge
At Eni, a family runs the kitchen and the dining room. Moussaka, tavë kosi and stuffed peppers come to the table the way they are cooked at home: generous, warm and made for sharing.
Generous plates, family recipes and a table made for sharing.
Our storyMost tables order a little of everything: something to start, something baked, something sweet. Portions are generous, so come hungry.

Olives, a creamy spread and bread for the table.

Kima with eggs: minced meat, onion, tomato sauce and herbs.

Kasatë parfe and suxhuk Berati, the local desserts on the menu.
Raki Berati, house wine by the glass or carafe, cold Albanian beer and fresh juice: something to pour with every plate.

House wine, poured by the glass.
A half-litre carafe for the table.
Albanian lager, served cold.
For long evenings on the terrace.
Orange or mixed fruit, squeezed fresh.

Stone walls, a wooden ceiling and a terrace that fills up in the evening. A few moments at Eni.

Eni is a family-run restaurant on Rruga Nikolla Buhuri, near the Gorica bridge. The kitchen cooks what Albanian families cook: moussaka, tavë kosi, fërgesë, polenta and byrek, with Berat olives and wine on the side. Guests notice the care as much as the food: the staff once brought out a ride-on toy so a family’s toddlers could play while their parents ate. Sit inside under the wooden ceiling, or outside on the terrace.
Mirë se vini. Welcome.
